The Club are delighted to be hosting this year's gathering of the Cheshire and Lancashire Men's hockey world for the annual Boxing Day fixtures. County hockey has changes significantly over the years and the Boxing Day Fixtures we're very much part of the hockey annual calendar and its great the tradition and friendly rivalry continues !

There are three games:

Over 40's - 10.30am push back
Over 50's - 12.05pm - push back
Seniors - 1.45pm- push back - Now cancelled as Lancs unable to raise a side

Timperley players have been part of the fixture for many many years and this year currently we have Dave Halkyard and Ben Nicholson playing for Cheshire Senior's at 1.45pm. Rob Turner is coach for the senior side. (Sadly the senior game has now had to be cancelled)

Timperley players have also occasionally popped up for Lancashire too over the years and there may even be a few blues playing for the Over 40 and 50's yet !

Like the Cheshire Cup Finals Day - the Cheshire v Lanc's matches are a great way to catch up with the wider North West Hockey Family.

So with no club hockey on the 30th December why not pop down to the Club to watch the games, support Dave and Ben and have a few drinks in the clubhouse!
