Congratulations to our 2018 Awards Winners !

This year's 007 themed Dinner and Awards certainly got off to a flying start with the some form of rocket fuel disguised as James Bonds favourite tipple last Friday evening !

The evening will go down as one of the best dinners we've had for many year's having sold out over 3 weeks before the event. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event, and for all the raffle and auction donations. We're still finalising the expenditure and awaiting any percentage of bar sales figure to come through but the great news is we will have raised at least £1000 from the evening - a top effort from everyone involved.

Thanks also to Kerri and her catering team and to Ashy and Sam for running the bar and drinks side of the evening so well. Leonnie produced yet another heart strings compilation video of the highlights of the season that brought many happy memories flooding back of all that we've packed in and what makes the club special to us all.

Sandwiched between the meal and the dancing and fun casino Kieran and Cuey as Club Captains hosted the nominations and presentation's of the majority of the seasons awards and thank you's.

Thanks to everyone for going with the flow and donating to the fund-raising efforts for the evening and getting those tenners in the envelop at the start of the evening and to all our lucky raffle ticket winners, Danny Higgin who cleaned up on 'Guns and Holsters' and Alex Morley for the best outfit of the evening in his wet suit ensemble who pipped a very credible Blowfeld and large catch for the fizz !

Neil Hornby cleaned up in the Auction pipping Cuey and Rob Pates to the signed Men's GB shirt and John Wood snapped up the now infamous 2014 Commonwealth Games hockey ball that has now raised on its own £295 from the last two dinners !

We'll be getting feedback on what worked and what people liked so we can get next years Dinner booked in !
