TSC are delighted to be this event run by a new charity you may have heard of Sporting Memories Foundation on:
Sunday 22nd July 2018
10.00am - 4.30pm
(Registration 10.00am - 10.30am)
Help spread the word to family, friends, neighbours or those in the wider community and encourage those who may benefit from getting involved to come down and try something new or rekindle and interest in an activity or just take in the day and seeing what's happening.
Activities on offer to have a go at include:
- Walking Hockey, Rugby and Football
- Zumba and FAB exercise class
- Boccia and new age kurling
- Darts
- Line and ballroom dancing
- inclusive cycling
-walk for health
- softball cricket
- volley ball
- or watch a cricket match taking place and walking football tournament
- sporting memories taster sessions
There will be stalls, on site parking, clubhouse and bar will be open for refereshments
The event will be a free family fun day with the focus being on activities for older people, we will have a display of vintage cars, BBQ and stalls available on the day (if you wish to have a stall at the event please contact Megan Hale prior to the day see contact details below). This is a great opportunity to promote the work that you do in the local community and we would expect you to actively promote and signpost participants to your groups at this event.
