Grow a Tenner is a national campaign that help voluntary clubs and community organisations like TSC to access match funding to grow donations from members, parents, supporters and former members. With Match Funding and Gift Aid a monthly donation of £10 month over 12 months can be doubled to over £200. It a really easy way to raise funds and a lot easier than a 5am shift at a car boot sale !

This year the Local Giving Scheme has changed this year so we need you to set a reminder in your organiser or pop a note in your diary and get on line from 10.00am on Tuesday 11th December 2018 to sign up to make a donation to TSC. PLEASE DON'T SIGN UP BEFORE THIS TIME AS ANY DONATIONS WONT'T BENENFIT FOR THE MATCH FUNDING

This is the third year the club has signed up to the scheme and the reason we need you to act fast is that there is less money available in the pot for clubs to access - only £100,000 for the whole of the UK. The other change this year is that match funding is only available if you sign up to donate a £10 a month for 12 months (see below).

This year the funds raised will help us buy a new (or nearly new) tractor - and yes this makes a big difference to hockey as the tractor is used to clean and brush the pitches to keep them in the best possible condition - there aren't many 12 year old pitches that are in as good condition and the tractor plays a key part in maintaining them. The current tractor is on its last legs and has become unreliable and we need it almost every day to use on the grass playing pitches, ground and astro's. Everyone across the club will benefit.

Here's how the scheme works and what you need to do to donate to the club and help us access match funding and gift aid to increase the value of your ££££ (for free).

- Sign up to make a monthly direct debit donation to TSC of £10 a month for 12 months - your £10 donation for months 7 to 12 will be matched by Local Giving so you need to stay signed up for the club to benefit from the matched funding
- Sign up to Gift Aid if a UK tax payer
- your £10 a month for 12 months could grow to over £200 to the club

If 35 people across the club signed up we could raise a whopping £7000 - so if you can afford £10 a month and can help us keep investing in our playing surfaces and the club please sign up from Tuesday.
