FIH Men's World Cup pushed back this week - great opportunity to watch some amazing hockey & catch the cheeky turtle mascot!

After all the hype and what seemed non stop promotion of this summer's FIH Hockey Women's World Cup by England Hockey, the Men's World Cup pushed back this week in Odisha, India with England Men's first match today ending 2-2 against China.

Look out for Olly the Mascot distant relative of our own Tim and Perley - who said turtles don't do hockey when we welcomed our own Ninja mascots a couple of seasons ago !

This is a great opportunity to watch some World Class hockey on TV and on-line whether you're supporting England, or Ireland Men, with so few opportunities to watch don't miss the chance to take a look and also help support our sports profile by growing the number of viewers.

Players, coaches and umpires of all ages and abilities and learn and develop by watching the coverage. Test your knowledge of the Rules when decisions are referred to the Video Umpire - or see the tactics used, when's the best time to go to kicking back or total hockey in action with fast paced substitutions and rotations ...and of course some amazing stick skills !

England's next match is on Tuesday 4th December v Australia at 11.15am on BT Sport 1 and they play Ireland on Friday 7th December at 1.30pm
