The final programme and cost are being finalised and will be communicated shortly along with booking window dates for THC members – before we put places on open sale. This is a really unique opportunity to learn from, and develop your skills as a coach or player, from some of the best around.

Kwan, Anthony and Albert all bring a wealth of experience of international hockey drawn for a wide range of countries. Kwan, as well as still playing for Trinidad and Tobago, will be familiar to keen followers of hockey most recently as part of the England Men's coaching team at the World League. Kwan has won England Hockey's prestigious performance coach of the year award and won many plaudits for his work as part of the Sky Sports Coverage of Hockey as few years ago.

Anthony is part of the FIH coach educator programme and has a wealth of coaching experience and developing coaches. Albert completes trio having played, umpired and coached at an international level for Trinidad and Tobago. Albert joined THC in July 2016 and has been appointed out Lead Performance Coach for the coming season.

We’ll also be inviting a number of our THC senior and academy coaches, and parent coaches to attend as part of their own coach development and to get ready for the new season by attending these inspiring coaching masterclasses here at the Club.

The provisional programme is:

Saturday 19th August – Club Coaches Masterclass (full day) aimed at those currently coaching in the academy or wanting to start coaching, so ideal for players, parents and those already involved in club or academy coaching.

Sunday 20th August* – Performance Coaches Masterclass (full day) aimed at more experienced coaches working with teams or groups of players looking to gain new ideas and a refresher prior to the new season

Monday 21st August* – Three Player Masterclasses (2 – 2.5 hours) for young players, single system players and adults
