Rick, from Maximise Potential , will be leading our popular pre-season fitness / strength and conditioning sessions again this season - so come along and get your FIT HIT !
Rick's flexible programme is suitable for all standards from our uber fit 1st team squad players to our more social hockey players ! You set your benchmarks and Rick can tailor the drills around injuries, knee problems and all the other reasons that crop up on the night !
This year we will be doing these sessions on the grass and out and about in the local area - so come prepared with suitable footwear. We'll sort a valuables bag for keys etc too !
Weekly sessions will be held:
- Thursday 8th June to Thursday 27th July
- 7.30pm - 8.30pm (arrive for 7.15at the club ready to jog over to St George's Poll (0.7km)
or meet at the playground on the grass area just near St George's Pool accessed from Urban Road at 7.25pm
- sessions will start at 7.30pm)
Until the grass areas are back open again at the club (hopefully by the end of June) we'll be starting with a light run across the Golf Course over to the open areas near St George's Pool. If you're not aware the drainage project / investment needs the grass to recover before it can be used.
Sessions cost £3 or £15 for as many sessions as you like !
