NEW - Strength, Conditioning and Post Match Recovery taster sessions - sign up this weekend

Fancy working out how to reduce all those hockey aches & pains ? Try our 'taster' S & C sessions with Rick Poole - Monday 19 and 26 September

As part of our aim to be a #greathockeyclub to be part of we've been offering more ways to get involved, be with friends at the club and make hockey about more than league games. Sign up t hie weekend on FB, let your captain know or Caroline Small we need numbers firmed up to plan the session !

Following the success of our pre season fitness sessions over the summer Caroline Small our Hockey Development Chair has been working with Rick Poole, Fitness Coach, to look at a potential programme that will benefit hockey players.

We will be running two FREE taster sessions for a new 1 hour session focused on:

  • Strength
  • Conditioning
  • and Post Match Recovery

The 'mixed' taster sessions will be held in the club's function room 7.00pm - 8.00pm

Monday 19th September
Monday 26th September

The two taster sessions will give members the chance to try out for free funded by the hockey section.

If there is demand and interest we will extend the sessions to run through to just before Christmas. If you come down for a 'taster' all we ask if that you share with us your feedback and if interested in signing up for a 10 week programme from 1st October on a Monday evening.

Demand on demand and preferred timing we will finalise plans after the second taster session. There will be a small charge to sign up for the 10 week block to contribute to covering costs. The majority of sessions will be in the function room with a couple of sessions outdoors.

If there is sufficient demand we will look to run two sessions 7.00pm and 8.00pm

So, come down and try it out and see what you think and if enough members want us to continue we will !
