Thanks for all the support at last Saturday's Dinner Dance yet again we proved two things about Timperley !
- get people together from across our #OneClub and they're guaranteed to have a great time and remember why they love being with hockey friends and what people part of our club means
- we're still really rubbish at getting organised to buy tickets for events early and love to make the organisers sweat by leaving it to the last possible minutes !
Special thanks to our MC for the night Dave Litt who kept us to time, in check and helped whip up a fantastic whirl of fund-raising activity to raise funds to contribute to the additional costs of the IWHL Relegation Play Off's
We raised around £1000 and thanks go to all who supported the raffle, heads and tails and the auction. Dave Litt walked away with the signed Ashley Jackson Stick, Pat Marsden the 2012 Olympic Hockey Ball and Matt Horan the 2014 Commonwealth Games Hockey Ball (and Mark McGee who we think matched Matt's bid!).
Thanks also to all those who donated prises including Silver FX, Home and Gift of Hale, Fiona Inglis, Sarah Chancellor and Shelagh Entwisle
We also present some of our annual awards at the dinner - the full presentation and season reports and presentations will be made on Sunday 14th May so save the date !
