Following a fantastic summer weather wise, a home hockey world cup and continued growth and profile of hockey it's time to finish off those back to school preparations and pull out the hockey gear for another season!

We look forward to welcoming all of our young players and parents back to Timperley on Sunday 2nd September 2018 for our Academy Registration Day from 10.00am to 12.30pm

New players welcome and we offer two free taster sessions so you can give club hockey a go before you join.

All players in years 11 and below need to register with the Academy even if they play for senior teams. Of you have players in this category we suggest you come down and register from 11.15am

** One way traffic system will be in place - enter Stockport Rd - Exit Wood Lane - no turning or dropping out side clubhouse. Please help keep the club safe for our young players by following directions from Parking Marshalls (Parent volunteers needed!) and helping keep the traffic flowing and parking in a courteous manner) **

Timings are as follows:

Player Registration from 10.00 - 12.45pm in the clubhouse to cover off confirmation of player details, signing consent and gift aid forms and payment of 2018-19 fees and collect player and parent handbooks

Payments by cash or cheque fees for 2018-19, Hockey Fees Due are:

Reception to YEAR 2 - £55 (hockey fees only)
YEARS 3 - 6 £120 (including TSC membership and hockey fees)
YEARS 7 - 11 £130 (including TSC membership and hockey fees)

Custom Fit Mouth Guard fitting from 10.00am - 12.30pm. Khalid our friendly local dentist will be on site to give advice and take fittings / orders for mouth guards for young players, adults or other family members

THC kit orders. Silver FX will be on site 10.00am - 12.30pm with kit samples and to give advice on sizing and take orders for kit. Items ordered in July for club delivery will also be available for collection

Under 16s training will start on Tuesday 4th September 5.45pm-7.00pm with Albert Marcano and new club coach Mark Talbot

As this is the first session back for the majority of players the focus will be on getting back to playing hockey, fun games and drills to dust off the cobwebs! So please make sure players bring shin pads, water bottles and are ready for a good run around for week 1!

If you miss registration day or are away you can complete registration on Sunday 9th and 16th September or on Tuesday 4th and 11th September. Parents or guardians must attend to sign consent forms

One plea to parents and hopefully a suggestion to save some money! Please name all items of kit clothing, sticks, shin pads, water bottles and ideally get mouth guards named too as we gather much kit each season and even with lost property sessions fail to find the owners !

BBQ and pre season social - Saturday 1st September from 6pm at the club

Fancy an informal few drinks, a new and catch up with hockey parents (old and new) and friends join us for our #oneclub all welcome only a fiver for adults and £2.50 for kids. Please reply on Pitchero event if you can join us so we can order food.

Parents any also be interested in the Faulty Towers dining experience at the club on 12th and 13th October a unique and fun t night out and member early bird tickets (£37) available until Sunday 2nd September - thereafter prices go up to £42
