THC Mixed 7's Tournament - Sunday 1st July 2018 !

Timperley HC will be kicking off the summer period with a fun and friendly Mixed Tournament 7s which will be held at Timperley Sports Club, WA15 7LU, on Sunday 1st July 2018. All abilities of players / teams are welcome to enter - with potentially 2 different leagues being set up for 2 tiers of ability. It is the perfect way to kick off your pre-season period, getting into the summer spirit and put the fun back into hockey. First games will be pushing back from 11.00am and the rest of the timings will be confirmed once we have an idea on final team numbers.
Enter as a club team, friends or even colleagues from work - all welcome ! The 7's will also celebrate the Vitality Women's World Cup being held in London later in the Summer so feel free to get into the mood with any team kits or fancy dress for the World Cup teams !

Clubs entering more than one team are asked to indicate whether each team would be more appropriate for the A league or the B league (this will depend on numbers and the mixture of abilities that enter).
The entry fee for each team is £50 and should be paid in advance (once you sign up we'll send you the bank details) or before the start of play on the day. Or if you come along to our Summer league sign up and pay then !
The deadline for teams to enter is Wednesday 20th June 2018.
Team will need to provide their own umpires for each match, so please make sure you have someone to pick up the whistle.
Maximum of 12 players per team (7 a-side tournament) - Teams may only consist of 4 male players on the pitch at any one time.
Teams are reminded that this is a friendly tournament and should be played in the summer spirit.
The clubhouse will be open as normal, with a fully stocked bar and some great summer offers to get you in the Mixed 7's spirit. Teams are asked therefore not to bring their own alcohol on to site. There will also be food on sale at the club to keep you fuelled up throughout the day… watch this space for more information.
