Time to watch some hockey !

Missing hockey already ? There's lots of top hockey to watch coming up online, on TV or Live to see the EHL, CG2018 and Timperley in action !

The growth and popularity of our sport is shining through at the moment with more ways and opportunities to watch some top class hockey from around the world and closer to home !

Where you're starting out in your hockey life as an academy player, an old hand in the masters, club player or 1st team player there's something everyone can learn by watching hockey - the more people who watch hockey the more coverage we'll get on mainstream telly !

This weekend its the Men's Euro Hockey League the Champions League of European Club Hockey - if you've not watched any top men's club hockey take a look over the next few days - Watch on BT Sport (3) or online at EHL EHL Hockey Schedule. England's Holcombe were knocked out earlier today but there are some fantastic club teams to watch - plus the added excitement of using the two goals for a field goal and one for a Penalty Corner - all adds to the excitement. Simon Egerton of this Parish (well Bowdon) is playing for Rotterdam.

If you went along the Manchester2002 Commonwealth Games at Belle Vue its probably a good reminder of how far our sports come over the last 15 years !

Closer to home we have our Under 15/16 Girls playing a Dutch touring team - VMHC BASKO from near Eindhoven this evening (30th March) at 6.45pm to bring our own bit of European to Timperley.

It would be great to get some support over to Leeds University on Sunday 15th April to cheer on out Under 10's Boys and Girls and Under 12 Boys in the North Finals too !

Tickets are on sale for the Men's Over 50s EH Final at the University of Birmingham on Saturday 28th April. The Blues hit the turf at 4.30pm and tickets include the chance to watch Men's and Women's National League Play Off games earlier in the day.

We are also getting a quote for a bus down to Birmingham and update shortly if anyone old or young fancies a day out with the car to support our Men's Over 50's in the EH Final.

Don't forget London hosts the largest hockey event every staged in the UK when we host the Vitality Women's World Cup 21st July - 5th August 2018 at Lee Valley - still some tickets available Women's World Cup Tickets .

We'd like to do a social around the World Cup and get folks down to watch England Women - so anyone with any ideas for this please get in touch and lets get something set up to bring the cub together to #WatchSomeHockey

Plus of course we have our own tournaments and summer league - even if you;re not playing come down to the club to catch up with playing mates, have a few drinks and support the Timperley sides....

21st April is the Men's Tournament
Summer League Starts 15th may (Ladies) and 16th May (Men)
and Ladies Vets 7's 9th June

...so time to watch some hockey !
