We set up this internal mixed 7's tournament up when we merged a couple of seasons ago and its been a real hit with all involved. Its a great way to meet folks from across the section and we will be organising teams in advance to mix up players of all ages / from across all teams. Its been a real highlight to see 1st Team players along side the Vets, or 5th / 6th Team Players along with some of our budding academy players all in one team - proper #hockeyfamily stuff !

To make this tournament work we need names in advance to sort the teams so please sign up via the Doodle Poll if you can come along. Meet time 1.30pm to introduce teams, then we'll play through til about 4pm. The Tournament will be followed by some food and the 2018 Hockey AGM.

There will be the short updates and review of the season, and how the hockey section has fared during the season on and off the pitch. We;ll also be looking ahead to next season, changes planned for the National Leagues that create opportunities for THC, the headlines from the THC Survey and some of the ideas and plans for next season.

The Hockey AGM will also provide the opportunity to update specifically around the thinking as part of the TSC Club Development and the 'hockey specific bits' along with how the overall Club Redevelopment will benefit hockey and the overall club. But and there is a BUT continuing to develop our club facilities and what we offer will take input and time from members to make stuff happen.

Finally, SilverFX will also be at the Club on Sunday 13th May to take orders ready for delivery at the start of pre-season in July.

This is an ideal opportunity to get orders in early, avoid the mad rush that descends on every kit supplier in September (and as we now this can impact delivery times at peak times for all pretty much all suppliers). Samples will be available to try for size and we're looking at taking on feedback on the range to see if improvements can be made.

There will be another Kit Order in early July ready for delivery ahead of the start of the league season.
