Green Pitch (THC 2)
The green pitch was rock solid at 2pm today and not improve earlier this evening, with some snow coverage too - so no chance of any hockey tomorrow ! ALL GAMES CANCELLED DUE TO ROCK HARD FROZEN PITCH

12.15pm - Men 5 v Macclesfield 3
1.40pm - Ladies 3 v Golborne 1
4.30pm - Badgers v Deeside (opposition cancelled)

Blue Pitch (THC 1)
The pitch was in much better shape than the green pitch. Approx 15% snow coverage at the back line / ends of pitch but rest of pitch was pretty good, the top carpet wasn't frozen - although hard underneath in some areas.

So subject to tonight's weather and temperatures tomorrow morning we feel there is enough of a chance of some or all games being played that the pitch inpsection decisions will be made on Saturday morning - see below. Currently assume all games are potentially on.

We will need to rally a small army of volunteers to help move the snow - two shifts required at 9.00am and 10.00am - bring warm clothes, gloves and if you have a plastic snow shovel bring your own ! We have shovels ready at the club, Help get some hockey played by lending a hand Saturday morning !

12.30pm - Ladies 1 v Beeston 1. Pitch inspection early doors and decision to be confirmed to Beeston and Officals by 9am

2.15pm Men's 1 v Chester 1. Pitch inspection late morning.

4.00pm Men's 4's v Wrexham - decision will follow the Men's 1 decision.

Academy Training - decision will be made on Saturday evening or Sunday morning depending on weather
Mini Under 12's tournament at THC in the afternoon - cancelled
GMJHL Under 15 - cancelled

Thankfully the weather is due to improve next week so hopefully we'll be back to normal !

Keep up to date tomorrow morning in all the usual places to see if we can get some hockey on at Stockport Road - if we do and you're not playing come down and support the teams braving the cold !
