Community Partners

We've been really successful this season in signing up businesse to support hockey at Timperley.

Our Club Sponsor Kitchens of Altrincham has just completed the refit of teh club kitchen and this major donation - in additional to sponsorship - has saved the club significant sums of money that can be redirected to other areas. This is a great example of working in partnership.

We've also got a wide range of local businesses who have taken pitch side banners as Community Partners - this financial support is key to delivering all we do at THC and without it we would need members to pay more or raise funds in other ways.

We'd like everyone to show your support for our sponsors and community partners and we'll be doing a feature this week to highlight this important group of THC supporters. Pop in and see them and mention Timperley Hockey and thank them for their support including:

Kitchen's of Altrincham - and ask about the Timperley Hockey discount

House - Bar and Restaurant in Goose Green

Gift and Home in Hale

...and finally some hockey......

Road to Lee Valley - great set of results last Sunday with teams continuing to fly the flag in national EH competitions

- Mens O50 win 3-2 away at Wakefield
- Ladies O35 win 3-2 at home to Pendle Forest
- and Mixed XI win their first outing of their campaign with a 7-0 win away at Lytham

Sadly the Ladies 2's had to withdraw from the Plate as they couldn't raise a team. All teams along with the Men's 2's who are still in the Plate will play next round games in January / February

We dip our toe in the EH Indoor competitions next weekend and as part of our preparation the Ladies 1's and Boys U18 will be playing a practice game against each other on Wednesday ahead of Sunday's Tournaments !
