The Ladies 1's are off hit the Pennine trail today and head over to Ben Rhydding for their final game of 2016 looking to pick up where they left off in the fantastic home win against them earlier in the season.

The Men's 1's also cross the Pennines heading to Sheffield and will be #strivingfor five wins on the bounce with Albert's Caribbean magic and tactics !

The Ladies over 45's are through to he next round of the EH Cup but the Under 18 Boys gave a great performance but lost out to last years finalists Ben Rhydding.

Sunday 27th Nov another big EH day too with the Mixed XI, Ladies O35's and Men's Over 50's all in action. The Men's 2's have a bye in the play and sadly the Ladies 2's had to concede their game in the plate as we couldn't get a team.

- Congratulations to Men's Club Captain Alex Morley and his wife Clare on the arrival of Joe Oliver Morley - we wish them all well and will have the academy forms ready to sign grow up as part of our #homegrown player recruitment strategy

- Chris Tasker is making a good recovery after his heart by-pass and Nick Burnett has all the news and details ! Tazy is at home now so do get in touch as Taz has been a big part of the #timperleyfamily for many years

- our first Wine Tasting evening with new TSC wine suppliers Cork's Out offering was a great success. Big thanks to the hockey girls who helped run this TSC wide event - Jodie including a tricky little wine quiz, Jackie the cheese shopper and now queen of Aldi, Jo Rob and Clare H our excellent wine servers and everyone who made it down. It was a great night with folks from across cricket, lacrosse, football and social members all down sampling away !

- based on the success of the evening the Cork Out Festive Wines Offers will be extended until 4th December - so pick up a tasting notes sheet and order form from the bar, place your order and pay at the bar for special THC prices and pick up your wins from the club on Saturday 17th December. You can order single bottles too so no need to worry about having to order a case !

- Corks Out wines will be available from the bar in the next week

- The Kitchen refit is nearly complete thanks to out new THC sponsor's Kitchen's of Altrincham

- Parking ! work has started on the new changing block on the back cricket pitch so we have lost some parking spaces outside the blue astro. Please take care around the building works area. We also have Xmas Trees for sale in the bottom car park for the next few weeks that is taking up some spaces and may involve extra traffic to the club. So be aware the club will be busy as usual.

Parents dropping players are reminded to drop them in the bottom car park and not drive up to the pitches to turn around as there is limited space and this is dangerous with players coming and on and off pitches at change over time.

- the Umpires course this Sunday is fully booked and we wish all our budding whistles all the best for the course - thanks to Nick Burnett for being a terrier and organising this and getting everyone signed up !

- Christmas Draw tickets should be ready for collection this weekend too. We need donations for our Hockey Hampers - please leave donations in the big box in the Committee Room
