Find out what's new and what's up and coming in this week's update and the Big Thank You !

This week we want to say a Big Thank You to all members and parents who have made a real difference by paying their TSC Subs on time - this is our best time for subs collection for many many years. By paying on time you've helped save hours of volunteer time usually spend chasing subs well into November. So a really Big Thank You to you our members for making this years process work so well. We'll have completed the process by the end of October picking up all the new joiner and a final few folks !

A Big Thank You too for buying tickets and committing to come along to Saturday's Oktoberfest - numbers are looking good, the Steins and beers are here and the bands are ready to play ! We are selling tickets on the day £7 - but please pay over the bar as early as possible rather than wait until the evening when the bar will be busy !

Saturday Nights running order !

6.30pm - 200 Club Draw (Snowball Prize is now at £175)
7.00pm - Oktoberfest folks hit the Function Room to collect steins and enjoy Disco Heywoods and Alex Morleys take on Manchester meets Munich
8.15pm (ish) - Food served
8.30pm - Mr Marsden's Band - let the dance floor shapes and moves begin!
Followed by beer breaks, DJ and The Harbingers Band later in the evening !

Thanks to Patty and Phil for sorting the bands to play for beers and food that's meant we could keep the ticket price down and Stu Heywood and our bar Staff Team - Jane and Sam - so helping make the event happen !

Oktoberfest and Socials are all part of our #GreatHockeyClub plans - we've also been working on some of the behind the scenes stuff this week too and have launched our new Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Code that puts in place best practice and the standards and processes we need to have in place - so make sure you've had a look especially if you are a collector of umpires cards !

Half term Hockey Camp (26th - 28th October) isn't far off now - so do spread the word, get you young people booked in and help spread the word to family and friends as its open to all aged 7+ from beginners to our more experienced academy players. Albert and Jim will be running the camp so something for everyone and flexible options to attend all or some sessions.

Congratulations go to Shelagh our Chair who won the Trafford Sports Awards 'Unsung Hero' last weekend and now goes on to represent Trafford and the Club at the Greater Manchester Sports Awards. Ruth Evans long standing THC member and former TSC President won the Award in 2010 so its good to have Timperley back on the map.

This week we have another Men's and Ladies 1's double header home fixture:

12.40pm Ladies 1's v Brooklands
2.30pm Men's 1's v City of York

Both teams would really appreciate your support and have been focused in training to build on recent performances and get back to winning ways this week. We also have five other home games so lots to watch so come down and watch some hockey !
