Weekly Update - Big Thank You - Big Night Out !

Another solid weekend on the pitch last weekend, sadly no point for either 1st Team - but some good results across the board. Full programme again this weekend and our first EH Championship match of the season on Sunday with the Under 18 Boys taking on Ben Rhydding at home 1.00pm push back. Ladies 1's head to Durham University and the Men's 1s host local rivals Alderley Edge.

We're delighted that this week's Match Day Sponsor is our new Men's 1st team sposnor Coolair and we look forward to welcoming a member of the Coolair team at the club tomorrow. The Men's 1's will also be getting their new team photo taken before the game looking spendid in their new Coolair Shirts and branding. This week we would like to thank all members who have paid their TSC Subs by the deadline and helping us get in great shape for the season, we're nearly there with getting everyone on Pitchero too. Next big club job coming up in the next few weeks is to complete our England Hockey Affiliation and to do this we need the age profile of our members so you may be getting a reminder to update your pitchero profile with date of birth so we can complete our affiliation. This is important as EH need the data to help support funding for hockey.

#1 - Oktoberfest - Saturday 14th October

Don't miss out on our first social of the season - we kick off at 7pm, tickets available on the night £8, all welcome. Let's get a really good turnout.

A great night of beer, song and great company ahead - get those outfits and head to the club. The more we spend over the bar - the more funds we raise for hockey as this is one of our share of the bar take nights (subject to hitting minimum sales) so what better way to have a great night out and raise some money for these section . Have a look at the Beer Menu for the night - lots more beers on tap this year and special deals on jugs too !

7.00pm - doors open collect your Stein (its your for the night and to take home!) and Food tickets, grab a table in the THC Bavarian Beer Hall

#3 - Availability - October half tem madness

October half term is traditionally a time when lots of folks head off for a short break or holiday and availability numbers plummet ! Help your team mates and teams by making sure you update your availability this weekend for 21st and 28th October so we can ensure we can field our normal 13 sides - we've lots of players this season and with advance notice we can make it a slightly less stressful week if people update availability now!

#4 - TSC Website and THC Website Design

The TSC website has been redesigned www.timperley-sports.com/ and refreshed so do have a look. We've been working with the Club on these changes, and will be refreshing the design of the hockey website over the next few weeks to clean up the design and bring it in keeping with the TSC site. We hope this will improve the 'user' experience !

#5 - TSC BlackSheep Beer Festival and Comedy Night

The Club will be running a Black Sheep Brewery Beer Festival over the weekend 27th - 29th October - see posters in the club. There's also a comedy night planned for the Saturday night.

#6 - Its only a game ...

Final reminder of the week - each league warned all clubs about conduct of players, spectators and umpires towards umpires in the summer, we've also just shared our codes of conduct (part of our regular process). There always lots of support for anyone up for converting their excellent knowledge of the rules and game exhibited when playing or watching into practice - into becoming an umpire!
