Bumper weekend ahead - lets hope the rain and storms die down and that we're set of a cracking weekend topped off by our second informal social of the season and the 200 Club Draw.

The Player Survey highlighted people liked the idea of informal nights to stay down the club and know folks would be around - so these are your nights to get our hockey community socialising and meeting old and new players. There's no tickets, nothing fancy just the chance to catch up and get the season off the a flying start with a few drinks. Stay down after your game or come back down - the 200 club draw is at 6pm so you've even the chance to win some loot too !

Highlight on the hockey front this week:

- All men's teams get under way with league hockey this week and a east bound trip for the Men's 1 off to new boys in North Prem Lindum

- Ladies 2's have their first league game with new coach Mark Talbot and its league week three for the ladies 3', 4's and 5's

- the badgers are out in force for an internal club game at 4.30pm and the Beavers head to Wilmslow

- Sunday its academy training and we're still recruiting volunteer coaches and the ladies 1's head to Oulton and West Warks HC for their final warm up game before the IWHL starts on 29th September

Pitchero our internal match day system has all the fixtures but to keep everything as up to date as possible (as Pitchero and Fixture live are not automatically linked) we need team admins for each team to become a Pitchero Team Admin to keep teams match reports, result and venue and timing info bang up to date. if interested speak to your captain asap

Clocks ticking ........subs are due by 30th September

TSC subs are due by 30th September . Thanks to everyone who has paid over the bar or online. If you haven't yet paid time is running out so you need to pay over the bar or on line asap. NO PAY - NO PLAY kicks in week commencing 1st October and if you have not paid you will not be selected that week

- SilverFX Express delivery option has now gone live with a limited number of THC kit items now available for home delivery within 3 - 5 days

Where possible SilverFX has fulfilled September Order from stock items so players don't have to wait for delivery in October.

- new bar menu launched by Kerri this weekend ! including the old favourites and some new options including an all day breakfast !

- new Gins available from the bar and some changes to the Carlberg beers see if you can spot the difference

- We're looking for new people to help with the following activities:
a) selling the match day sponsors slots and producing the posters, social media etc (could be a split role)
b) doing the match day posters and changing room allocation
c) support the academy coaching on a regular basis or ad hoc basic
d) selling advertising banners around the pitches

Finally, tickets are selling fast now for Faulty Towers on Saturday 13th October - so if you want to grab a ticket or two you need to get to the bar this weekend and snap them up, tickets are also still available for the Friday evening. This is an open event and parents, friend, work mates all welcome
