Super Sundays - lots of Sunday hockey coming up and an ideal way to come down and support the blues of all ages ! This Sunday (12th) we have:

- Ladies 1 vBen Rhydding 12.40pm at Home in final home IWHL before the mid season break so this is the lastchance to watch the girls at home before February - why not come down and see our matchsponsor Nigel Stanhope who will be taking orders for traditional Turkeys too !

- at 2.15pm we have a thrilling re-run of last years EH Over 50's Plate Final with the Men's take on Formby - support needed to help get the guys into the next round and set the sat navsto Lee Valley

- 2.30pm Men's 1 hop over to South Downs Road for their EH Cup (Tier 1) tie v Bowdon 2's at 2.30pm

The big #OneClubFourSports date to save is Saturday 16th December when we'll be hosting our annual club festivities with some new touches this year - no Grand Christmas Draw - but we'll be running 'got to be in the club to win it' cash draw, the December 200 Club with bumper snowball prize (anticipated !) , huge tombola and family focused activities too ! More details next week !

18th November - 6.00pm - 6.30pm is the Monthly 200 Club Draw and the snowball on the night prize is now at £275 plus all the regular monthly prizes - look out for forms in the clubhouse to sign up - support the club and be in it to win cash monthly prizes.

We're also delighted to be hosting the annual festive masters hockey matches between Cheshire Men v Lancashire Men this year - games will be on Saturday 30th December at THC - more details on match times to follow.

Scores on the Doors

Bit of a mixed results card but another bumper weekend for getting lots of players and supporters involved in hcokey - with 13 #OneClub teams playing on Saturday and 7 teams on Sunday from Under 11's to Over 45's !

Highlights include:
- Ladies Over45 coming our 2-1 winners v Alderley Edge O45's
- Men's 1's come back from being an early goal down to win 4-1 v Sheffield Bankers
- Men's 2's remain unbeaten to remain top of Division 3 (south) beating promotion rivials Alderley Edge
- Ladies 5's return to winning ways with a 3-0 win v Northrop
- Men's 4's survive the day trip to the Welsh seaside and win 3-1 at Llandudno
- we put out three Under 11 teams at the GMJHL and U16 and 14's were in EH Action

We've had lots of questions why the IWHL and EH Fixtures have disappeared from Fixtures Live - simples - EH have moved to a new standalone system called SportsLomo and its fair to say its still bedding in. We're trying to load fixtures onto Fixtures Live so everyone can have one view of all the THC fixtures - but we can only do if the Opposition team is loaded on Fixtures Live (this mainly impacts Academy teams) .

Kit Update

The final orders from Silver FX from the 10th September delviery are due today and will be available at the Club this weekend and on Tuesday - once they are delivered today we will post a furhter update and put posters up in the club about collection. We have been in discussion with SilverFX this week and THC and SilverFX apologise for the disappointment with the delay the start the season order. The delays on manufacture on bespoke made to order items as impacting a number of major sports kit suppliers - some experiencing 12 weeks delivery times.

On the upside we were delighted to have recieved the Ladies 1 new shirts with new sponsor http://www.kitchens-of-altrincham.com new team photos will be shared shortly.

EH Affiliation - player data

We are in the process ofcompleting our annual affiliation to England Hockey - this includes completing data on the number of players, coaches, umpires and the age and gender profile. We can get alot of this Pitchero Profiles now and the Academy consent forms. Where we have 'gaps' we will be sending out reminders to players via Pitchero to update your profile - this will really help us have better data on players / ages for planning teams and future playing activities as well as completing our EH Affiliation - whilst your on Pitchero why not upload a player profile picture and help bring your team pages to life ! We'd really appreciate people's support in getting the main data up to date.

The data update will also be provided to TSC - which will mean that if you haven't got a bar card (18 and older) that you can get your card sorted and benefit from the 10% uplift in vlaue on any money you put on your card. So update your data, help us and save money too !
