- Saturday - due to Faulty Towers Event teas will be in the bar area on Saturday and the function room will not be available. Last Orders on teh bar will be 5.30pm and the clubhouse is to be cleared by 6pm ready for the event. The Bar will reopen to members from 7.30pm. - EH Championships hockey starts this Sunday with the U14 Girls (At Brooklands) and U16 Boys (at Chester) weekend with the first Timperley Teams in action with Sunday fixtures coming thick and fast over the next few weeks for academy, senior and masters teams

This week's Home Game of the day is the unbeaten Men's 1 v Chester 1 with the 12.30pm push back at the Club - come down and support the lads who've scored four goals in each of their last three league games so should be plenty of 'goals' on offer.

The Ladies 1's head down the M6 again, this time heading to Leicester Ladies and are ready to bounce back from last weeks defeat to an impressive Ben Rhydding side.

Welcome back to Ed Stropek who is back in the UK now and who has taken up the vacant role of Club Coach (Men's 2/3's). Ed picked up his first win last weekend to build on the Men's 2 undefeated start to the season and are sitting joint top of NWHL Division 2.

Last week's league game of the day Men's 6 v Men's 5 didn't disappoint with the billing (pitched by the Men's 6s) and was fiercely contested by both sides and entertained the crowd in the late game ! The half time 0 - 0 deadlock was broken in the second half with two flick, two goals, along with two blood injuries, two warnings for 'chat' and one green card and a final score of 2-0 up to the Men's 5's - the umpires can't wait til the return fixture !

We will be doing a round up of the EH Championships Fixtures this weekend (assuming we have them all in from England Hockey) as they trickle in !
