We're continually looking to strengthen our performance squads at Timperley HC (men and women) - our Women’s 1's are seeking talented and experienced players to join their ambitious 1st team squad to help achieve their 2018-19 dual objectives of:
• Promotion into the new National League Division 1 North for 2019-20
• Division 2 qualifiers (minimum) of Indoor

We are also recruiting a new Women's 1 Squad Manager to play a key part in National League Match Days and preparations - please contact us for more details if you think you have what it takes to contribute to the squads succession through this role for the 2018-19 season.

We've exciting times ahead for our Women's 1's as we move into our third National League season with the challenge of the new league structures from 2019-20. We want to increase the strength of the squad and build on our rising success at National League level. The team is friendly, enthusiastic and ambitious with the attitude to work hard and willingness to learn and play to their best ability.

The team plays indoor as well - last season winning the North Qualifying round and progressing into Division 2 qualifiers. This season the objectives is to match and improve that success. The 1st XI ladies also enter the Investec Cup and the EH Mixed Cup.

The club runs a fitness programme over the summer :
• With strength and conditioning sessions over May and June
• General fitness (speed, agility and stamina) during June and August.

Pre season training will take place : (Mens and Women's sessions)
• Saturday mornings 1000 – 1200 from 30th June through to end August
• Tuesday evenings 7.30 – 9.30 pm (from 17 July)
• Plus fitness specific sessions

In season training (Men's and Women's sessions)
• Tuesday evenings 8.00-10.00 pm plus second night (Thursday)
All teams (ladies and men) train on the same night at the club.

Our Women's 2s play in the North Div 2 South West with a further 3 women's teams in the Cheshire League (Div 2-4).

Our Men's 1's play in North Premier Division and are also looking to strengthen their squads too, and we have 5 other men's teams playing in the North West Hockey League.

We have some of the best club facilities in the North with two on site floodlit ATP’s and large clubhouse. We do all our outdoor training home games at our home site of Timperley Sports Club.

Timperley Hockey Club is located in South Manchester with easy access to the motorway network and close public transport.
