Regrettably, the decision has been made no to proceed with this year's Car Boot Sales as the grass outfield areas have not fully recovered yet from the major project to lay 15,000 meters of new drainage.

This of course of a major blow to buyer, sellers and out club fund-raising efforts but ever popular Car Boot Sales will be back in 2018 once the grass has grown back and on our super dry grass areas !

For hockey this will mean we'll need to work hard to raise additional funds to cover the contribution the Car Boot Sales usually made to our funding of coaching and major hockey expenses such as affiliations.

Can you help ? Do you know of any local businesses, your employer or others who may be interested in taking a pitch side banner at the club to promote their business and support their local community hockey club. Just think passing on a good lead that results in a new pitch side banner is a lot easier than getting up at 5am and heading to the club to park cars for 4 - 6 hours !
