Timperley 1XI vs Sheffield 1XI (Away)

On the back of 2 draws Timperley got the 1st win of the season away at Sheffield on the Olympic Pitch. It was a 3-0 victory with Sheffield’s goal being disallowed and another saved by Sophie’s face.

The first goal was scored by Becky, the second was awarded when Kim was floored, It was scored by Leonnie off a short corner beating 2 defenders after being given a green card, and finally the third by Lexi in the last 30 seconds of the game, flicking the ball over the keeper’s head.

With Rachel arriving 5 minutes before the game she still produced outstanding saves with one kicked over every player’s head and Catherine Richards shave tackles contributed to the defence.
