THC Beavers v Triton Beavers
Tense finish, but Triton hold out
This Saturday (13/10) Timperley Beavers played against Tritons Beavers.
The starting whistle blew and by the end of the first half we were already three goals down having missed a couple of opportunities.
After our half-time pep talk we were back on the pitch, this time more determined. In the first fifteen minutes of the second half, the ball was up and down the pitch with both teams taking chances at goal, but no team conceded. Then we got a break at goal and Rohan McCabe scored a shot into the bottom right. After a few minutes another window arose when the ball was played from outside the D towards goal. Rohan McCabe got his stick in and chipped the ball over the keepers stick and into the goal.
The last bit of the game was definitely the most tense with both teams desperate to score and shots being fired but we just couldn’t quite get the goals we wanted with an unlucky 3-2 loss.
