Showers
One of our two big hot water heating cylinders croaked in August and we are now with the help of John McGuire, hockey Vice Present and former stalwart, undertaking work to look at not just the hot water heater but the energy system and our energy efficiency. We've had an initial review and a further specialist survey is planned. To fix the current cylinder is a ten figure sum (yes £10k +) so the club needs to make sure we fully evaluation the options and invest members funds wisely.

We do have hot water but only half the capacity - we know its not ideal but when you see the figures involved hopefully everyone will agree we need to get the right long term solution. We are on it and John is doing a great job and we than him for his time and expertise to help us get the best solution for the club. So please don't curse if for a few more weeks the showers may be chilly after your game! If showering earlier in the day - please also shower as quickly as you can to save and share the hot water we have with others as it takes time to re heat the one working heater !

Road closures, Traffic and doing your bit !
Please do your bit to help us make the traffic flow, parking and shared use as stress-free as possible on Saturday 3rd, Sunday 4th and Monday 5th! Please car share if possible to reduce cars on site, if local walk, cycle or park off site( as you'll know the best places to park). The bar staff will be stretched and busy so lets be courteous to all and patient as the club is full to the brim ! The Traffic Flow One Way System will be in operation - pelase respect it and exit the club via Wood Lane.
