The pitches have thawed and hockey is back this weekend with a bang !

The only winners last weekend were our super Under 10's Boys and Girls teams who headed to the sub-tropical Armitage Centre to play in their monthly GM and Cheshire monthly Tournament! As the only Timperley teams to get any hockey played, it was great to hear know that our how the U10's did and feedback about how well our young blues are doing and following in the footsteps of many of our current Men's and Women's Performance Squads. These tournaments provide the hockey foundations for our young players - not just on the pitch - but also learning all about being part of a squad and hockey friendships.

...more hockey to watch this weekend !
Gutted to see England Men crash out of the World Cup to Germany earlier this week having led 2-0 with less than 4 minutes to go they drew 2-2 and lost the shoot out. Good game to take a look at and see how the Germans never gave up proving it never is over til its over ! Lessons for us all there ! Watch or record the World Cup final on Sunday 1pm on BT Sport Germany v Belgium or catch the highlights online.

For lovers of Indoor its the Super 6's finals at the Cooper Box and you can now watch all the live action from Sundays Finals on the new England Hockey on line platform

EH has teamed-up with leading live sports streaming platform provider, Joymo, to develop and launch England Hockey TV - a new direct-to-fan digital service broadcasting the biggest and best domestic events. Its a paid platform and £3.99 to watch lots of hockey and if we get through the any national finals this season and you can't make the trip to Lee Valley those games will be streamed too !

Have a read of Woody Joins the Whistlers and why not see how much you know about the games by taking the online rules test challenge - players, coaches and even spectators ! If you're a hibernating whistler please help us out with a few games through to the end of the season and the Under 18 boys still have no umpires for Sunday 4pm so please help make this game happen and dust off your whistle !
