Weekly Update ....bumper update - catch up with all things THC !

We hope everyone's enjoying some new found freedom, staying safe and not getting pinged as we ramp up preparation for the new season and a busy club and hockey time !

New THC Kit Shop to give 'live' 2nd August 2021
Following a few delays we're signing off the new THC Club Shop over the weekend and we will be going 'Live' on Monday with our new partners Sports Apparel Group We've had design refresh on some items, a few new designs and our favourites return including the THC Hoodie ! The prices are pretty much the same so that we can continue to offer great value and the new fabrics will be a little lighter too. All playing kits and most of the off pitch items match or blend well with our current kit so no one with current kit will feel out of place or feel they must replace ideas - but we hope you will pick take a look and pick up some new items when we go 'live'. We're excited about the new range and will be adding new items during the year too!

We're also finalising a dedicated area on the THC website with FAQ's and information all about the kit range, ordering and things like shirt numbers and queries - this will supplement the Sports Apparel Group online shop. Socks will be available for purchase direct from the Club -Buy THC Socks and Ties here !

Our 1st Order Window will open on 2nd August and close on 11th August 2021 - ready for delivery of the made to order items by the start of the league season (25th September). The next order window will open at the end of August and close on 8th September for delivery in Mid October. We'll then have an end of September and October order window too.

Previous Silver FX order queries - Shelagh Everett is working through and has solutions for most folks sorted now and will close these off in the next week, including refunds or replacement where required. If you've not already been in touch contact Shelagh direct or via timperleyhc@gmail.com

GB doing us proud in Tokyo !
With the GB Men and Women into the Olympic Quarter Finals its time to tune into the BBC / red button, Eurosport or Discovery to support the teams as aim for getting into a medal match. The Men v India is at 1pm on Sunday 1st August and the Women v Spain at 1pm on Monday. Summer coaching for players aged 8 - 18 !
We've revamped our small group coaching sessions for the Summer and bookings are now open for 2 hour small group coaching sessions. Find out more about the new themed sessions running on Tuesday and Thursdays throughout August. Join us for our 2021 TSC Club Fun Day - 7th August 2021
Next Saturday we've a full day planned to celebrate all things Timperley, officially open the Green Pitch (and the new LED upgraded lights should be installed this week!), play some #hockeyfamily 7's, try our #oneclubfoursports challenges, catch the M1 v Wilmslow (4pm), grab some food and enjoy the Great Timperley Auction finale with Phil Westwood knocking down the final lots and some one the night special lots. Come down for some or all of the day.

Important Academy Update for Parents .......
Anna Mawby is enjoying a well earned rest and has send out an important update to parents about plans for the Academy next season and shout out for help to make hockey happen in whats planned to be an even bigger or better season ! If you've not seen this please have a read as we will only be able to run our fantastic Academy programme if we can get the help needed behind the scenes. We've also really exciting news coming soon about our application to be one of the first 30 accredited England Hockey Talent Centres in the County as part of the revamp of the single system / player pathway. So now more than ever we need to continue to be the very best we ca be on and off the pitch.
