Timperley Beavers vs Brooklands B

Timperley Beavers proved they have strength in depth yesterday with a convincing win over local rivals Brooklands.
Despite some of the squad joining Badgers for the day, half term holidays and illness the team played with great control and huge work rate to control the game from beginning to end.

All the principles of good basics and good distribution were on display which were a pleasure to watch. Wilf Roberts had a great game, not least for covering almost every inch of the pitch. With no subs available everyone came off the pitch looking tired but happy. Ahmad Kurdy put in an equally great stint in midfield, tackling relentlessly and again moving the ball on well. Josh Colquhoun-Lynn was making his debut for Beavers but you wouldn’t have known it again tackling ferociously and passing well. Everyone was playing out of position pretty well and it will be good experience for them.

Goals came from Wilf (3), Rory (1), Tate (1) and 1 from Charles our loan player from Brooklands. He did look very pleased although a bit sheepish!
