EMILY POWERS TIMPERLEY TO RECORD VICTORY
Emily Baxter threw off her goalkeeping kit yesterday to inspire her team to a record win this season. Working tirelessly she inspired some great midfield play by her team mates.
In what looks a very one sided game Timperley had to work hard throughout and showed real composure in front of goal. Oli Burton was leading scorer with 7 closely followed by centre forward Rory Driscoll with 6. It was good to see other scorers on the sheet with Lauren McCall, Kamol Stanford and Wilf Roberts grabbing two each. It was a big squad day so players were rolling subs throughout the game and despite this the team never lost it’s rhythm. Anna Judd, Josie and Oli Hatton also caught the idea controlling the ball well and make simple passes to team mates.
The Beavers have big games coming up to close the season and this performance will stand them in good stead.
