Timps battle Chester B and storm Brian

As storm Brian took a grip over the North West's weather, Timperley Beavers took a grip of their fixture against a strong Chester B team. In driving rain both teams contributed to a game that kept those on the side lines entertained. In what was a first for the Beavers we had three family members on the pitch - Anna put in a good shift distributing the ball well from mid-field, brother Timmy stepped up and had a fantastic game in goal with several notable clearances from short corners and Rob took on the role of home Umpire. Thanks team Judd !

Harriet put in another man-of-the match performance on the right wing, beating the opposition for pace on the ball on numerous occasions.
Katie C demonstrated that she's settling into Beavers hockey with strong performance up front early in the game and defence in the later stages.
In addition to goals from Josh and Wilf it was great to see Will McBride on the score sheet with a well taken goal against a Chester keeper who put in a very good performance.
So, very well done to everyone who braved driving rain for the whole game, both those playing and those spectating.
