Where there's a Will there's a goal...
In a man of the match performance Will McB doubled last weeks goal tally, putting two past Winnington Park's keeper. And he wasn't the only Will on the score sheet. Will P, playing high up the pitch also scored twice. Another brace from Josh saw Timps Beavers win 6-1 against the opposition. School holidays meant that we had to promote Charlie Woods to play goal keeper. He put in an assured performance behind an excellent defensive work of Amba and Josh Colquhoun-Lynn who impressed with the speed of his tracking back. Katy is looking settled on the right and showed excellent distribution of the ball with a master class of the basics and good link-up play with Will McB. Edward and Myles both put in a good shift covering plenty of ground in midfield.
This was a great team performance from Timperley Beavers, with some great movement of the ball and good movement off the ball to create space for the pass.
Next up City of Preston Beavers who are likely to be our toughest opposition yet.
