Timps Beavers on top form

Our Beavers played perhaps what was the game of the season to beat Triton 9 - 0.
This was a very assured performance from Timperley Beavers in their last game of the season, with 6 different players getting on the score sheet and Tully keeping a clean sheet. The team demonstrated everything that is great about Timperley Hockey club. The work rate from the entire team was fantastic and the movement of the ball around the pitch was something that would be expected at a much higher level, with the coach going on social media to say 'some of the best hockey I've watched'.
And whilst it was a genuine team effort, points that should be mentioned included Anna stepping up to take a penalty flick after the umpire (dad) failed to see that the ball was a food foot over the line! Ollie H playing in an attacking role, demonstrated that he's comfortable anywhere on a hockey pitch netting a hatrick. Elena scoring her first Beavers goal for Timps but my favourite passage of play was a sustained tussle between Harriet an Triton 107 along the right wing in which the Timps player demonstrated the no nonsense approach learned from having two older brothers!
Well done team, Beavers squad and coach. It's been a great season of hockey.
