One of the roles of the AGM is to elect the core hockey committee for the coming season. Since we merged the mens and ladies section, and academy, in 2015 we have run the hockey at TSC using our #OneClub approach. #OneClub is all about working as one hockey club - not three (or more) sections, but working with one shared goal to make the club the best we can for all member and team and run as much as we can in a joined up way. One of our key strengths is that externally we are seen as #oneclub as we strive to create the sense of Club for all. We don't get everything right and we know we can improve - but we do believe the #OneClub approach is the best way to grow and thrive as a hockey club.

We have a core committee of nine roles elected by the AGM - and nominations are open for the following roles (see summary of each role and responsibilities attached). ALL ROLES are up for election !

The hockey committee meets monthly and provides the overall direction and co-ordination of the full range of activities required to run a hockey club of our size and scope. In addition, the committee and work is supported by a number of roles that perform key roles in making hockey work at TSC. The full list of roles plus of course we have captains and many other volunteer roles and all play an important part in making hockey happen and developing and improving what we do.

How to submit a Nomination:
If you wish to stand for one of the nine committee roles above please email timperleyhc@gmail.com by 12noon on Saturday 11th July 2020 with the following details:
- Your Name (and you need to be a current member of the Club)
- The core committee role(s) you wish to stand for
- The name of a Club Member to propose you for the role
- and the name of a Club Member to second you for the role
- please confirm that your proposer and seconder have agreed to do this

If you are interested in one of the non core committee roles - or if you think you can support THC in any other way please also contact us via the THC email or contact one of the current committee. There is flexibility around how we do the roles and how they work with the committee members so get in touch and let's work out how you can get involved in taking THC forward next season.

Subject to the number of nominations received we will be voting on elect role holders at the meeting - if posts are contested we may not have time to complete during the meeting and will run the process after the AGM to allow nominees to share information about why they are standing and what they bring to the role.
