Two New Fitness Sessions start this week at the Club - and we've something for everyone!
These sessions are limited to 29 participants per session to meet Covid-19 Requirements and Social Distancing. Pre-booking is essential - see link below - and all sessions will be confirmed. Please do not attend unless your booking has been confirmed. We will also confirm registration arrangements, where to sign in for each session and operating Rules.
DO NOT BOOK OR ATTEND IF YOU HAVE ANY COVID SYMPTOMS, HAVE TESTED POSITIVE OR ARE SELF ISOLATING.
If you have a place and have to cancel please let us know ASAP so your place can be reallocated. Once we get the system up and running we will look to block booking spaces for the Wednesday sessions.
We are offering two Fitness Session Options:
Tuesdays 18:45 - 19:45 with Zoe Lydon - open to all Club Members - 29 places per session - running 11th, 18th, 25th August and we will review subject to demand and pitch space to schedule additional sessions in September.
Wednesdays 10:00 - 11:00 with Rick Poole - open to all Club Member - 29 places per session - aimed as those looking to get back to fitness - planned to run for 10 weeks
The sessions will have varying levels of difficulty to suit everyone's ability to ensure you are challenged but not overwhelmed.
These sessions are aimed at anyone and everyone who wants to get out the house and get fitter for the start of the hockey season, and on Wednesday's, subject to space being available, non members, partners, friends and other TSC members are welcome subject to the Operating Rules.
The session contribution is £3 - £5 please bring correct change as the cash will go straight in to a bag and not touched and no change will be given. Wednesday session is £25 for all sessions and we will set up an online payment option, or cash in an envelop.
The sessions will take place on either ATP or grass, please bring appropriate footwear and plenty of water in a named water bottle and bring your own hand sanitiser.
Tuesday activities are based around body weight exercise however if you wish to bring a dumb bell, kettle bell or resistance bands to challenge yourself a bit further please do!
The daytime Wednesday session is a pilot for 10 weeks to provide a general fitness session for those able to come along in the day. Subject to sorting things out the aim will be to have a coffee after (outside and socially distanced) and as the group develops look to potentially extend our daytime offer.
Please do not attend without booking confirmation.
All bookings must be placed at least 24 hours before the session whilst we get the system fully up and running
Please also complete the EH Participation Agreement as this will assist in our track and trace reporting and whilst not Step 4 Hockey Activity if will assist the admin if you get the EH Form completed as well. We will be sending the Operating Rules for the Fitness round with confirmations and loading on the website shortly
