Huge congratulations to Oliver Evans, Men's Performance Squad, member for his selection to the England U18 Boys training squad for the forthcoming fixtures and training. England Hockey Announced Age Group Squads early this week and this year they have included club and school details too. Follow the link to see full squads.

Its been a long hard process with on line and in person sessions interspersed by lockdowns and the disruption to the season too - so huge credit to Oli (and the Evans family support crew) on his selection to the squad. Oli like most players has has limited club games and few if any school games this season and selection gives a fantastic opportunity this Summer to gain more valuable pitch and training time.

Well done Oli and enjoy the moment and opportunity. Oli is joined in the squad by Ted Graves (Bowdon) who are both flying the flag for the AGSB and the state section. Oli is our third player to make the England Age Group Squads in the last few years following in the footsteps of Ben Nicholson and Ben Entwisle.

Big shout out also to our other players in the England Hockey Single System with Performance Centre and JAC back underway and to those selected for Tensworth (north West invitational teams). Keep working hard and learning from the opportunity to work with different players and coaches. Special mention too to Wilf Roberts who got the final stages of the England Age Group Selection process earlier in the year as well.
