Great to have three more level 1 assessed umpires - and congratulations to Nina, Kelly and Matt on passing their recent assessments and receiving their Umpiring Shirts. Big thanks to our Umpire Developer Nick Burnett, and Umpire Co-ordinators Andy Entwisle and Woody, who work tirelessly each which making sure we have umpires for all our games and supporting and developing our new umpires.

Its also great to see Joe Williamson one of our Young Umpires doing the In2Hockey Cheshire Final last week and Dave Halkyard, umpiring his first national league Premier Division game, Bowdon Women v Barnes.

The Summer is an ideal time to pick up a whistle and join the whistlers #makinghockeyhappen from Summer League to friendlies / tournaments to start whistling and with Nick and the team we can give you lots of support to get whistling. Contact Nick, Andy, Woody, Leila, Pricey, Carrie or any of the team if you’re up for giving umpiring a go this Summer !

The online umpire course is now free to attend (along with lots of courses on the hockey hub as part of our EH affiliation. We've alots of support and encouragement on hand, shirts, radios, whistles, cards and everything to help you get going and join our merry band of whistlers who cover over 300 appointments a season to enable all our teams to play !
