Here's an opportunity for anyone pondering if they could do with some Physio treatment or a consultation. Sessions are £5 with a placement student / physio at MMU's Physio Department - the student is supervised usually by the clinical lead Dr Chris McCarthy.

They are for aged 16+ but there may be options for U16 if you complete and enquiry - but the session won't be with a student and costs may vary.

From Tuesday 12th January, we will be resuming our physiotherapy student placements, where an appointment online or in person is just £5!

This offer is not limited to staff and students, please let your friends and family know! We are looking for a wide variety of conditions, from elbows to ankles, or even if you’re just a bit stiff from working at home!

All appointments are subject to an initial video consultation, in line with current guidance to ensure we only ask you to come to the clinic if there is a need for face to face treatment. We now have use of the free app Physiotools Trainer, which is perfect for sending out exercises and stretches to do in the comfort of your own home, or maybe whilst on your daily outdoor exercise!

If you are able to notify us of a cancellation 24 hours prior to your appointment, we will be able to provide you with a full refund or we can rearrange your appointment.

If you do not attend or cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice the appointment fee will still be charged. The fee will be required before subsequent appointments can be booked.
