The Men's 1 will be taking on a very special challenge on Saturday 6th July 2019 and hitting the peaks of Yorkshire.

The Men's 1s are raising money for British Heart Foundation. Unfortunately, as so many know, the Club received the tragic news last July that Goalkeeper Kwasi Emmanuel who had become part of out Timperley Hockey Family during the 2017-18 season passed away tragically after suffering a seizure and cardiac arrest. It was later identified that Kwasi had had an diagnosed heart condition.

Kwasi was a beloved member of Timperley Hockey Club and brought nothing but laughter and joy to the people around him. He was always happy to help those around him and did whatever he could to make others smile.

In memory of Kwasi, our Men’s 1st team are walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks on July 6th 2019. This walk is not only in memory of our beloved friend and teammate but also to help raise awareness for the British Heart Foundation.

Please help us to raise as much money as we possibly can in memory of Kwasi and for such a fantastic cause! Thanks to a generous donation from our club President Nick Burnett of £500 we've smashed the original target of £1000 and the revised target of £1500 - meeting the Nick B challenge set us to exceed this and with your help we can top or smash the new target of £2000 !
