With 16 teams normally playing on a Saturday, Academy Hockey on a Sunday we regularly have over 350 players involved in hockey on a weekend. Here's a simple way to support section fundraising at a time when we have NO income coming in and have a bit of lockdown fun.

The more people that enter the bigger the Prize Pot for the lucky winner and the more we raise - if we can get 150 entries we can raise the equivalent of one weeks match fees and a prize pot of £400 - please join in if your can and support THC at this challenging time.

Last Person Standing is an opportunity to connect and compete with other members, friends and family around the club during this latest lockdown. Based on the football Premiership, this is a chance to win some cash, help raise funds for THC (at a time when we have no income coming in) and enjoy some regular friendly banter with our hockey family….all for a one-off entry fee of £10

All you have to do is pick a premiership team each week. If your team wins…you are still in the competition and pick again (a different team each week). This continues until there is one person left….the Last Person Standing who wins the prize pot. If your team loses you're out! Along the way there will be regular weekly updates so you can see how everyone is getting on.

Couldn’t be simpler.! Don’t worry if you are not familiar with the premiership match schedules-you will receive these each week via email, and don’t worry if you are not familiar with which teams are on a winning streak-with the absence of a home crowd there have been some very quirky results with many a major club facing humiliating defeat!

Round 1 of the competition will start with the round of games starting on 26th January 2021 (see below) . You need to sign up and pay your entry fee by 22nd January 2021 so we can get everything set up. If you signed up at the start of the season your entry has been carried forward and you are automatically in the competition!

2. Email our organiser Sammy Hargreaves to confirm your entry, payment method and the name of your team for the first week of the competition by 25th January 2021.

If you don't contact Sammy to confirm the name of your selected team for Round 1 you be allocated the first team alphabetically - for the first round for example it would be Arsenal.

Sammy will keep you posted each week with the results and whose still 'IN' and 'OUT' - if you're in you'll enter the next round until only one player if left !

Just a reminder of on those who have selected teams that WIN in each round will go through to the next round.
