We celebrated the 2025/26 season in style on Friday at our Annual Awards Dinner

Timperley Hockey Club celebrated the 2025–26 season in style with a fantastic Dinner & Awards evening at Timperley Sports Club on Friday 24th April. Marking an incredible milestone—140 years of hockey at the club—the night brought together players, volunteers, and supporters for an evening full of celebration, recognition, and plenty of fun. With a record 127 attending we'd like to thank everyone for the to the generous donations, prizes and auction lots that helped us raise over £2,700 toward the clubhouse refurbishment.

The event highlighted a hugely successful season on the pitch, with standout achievements including the Ladies 1s crowned NW Premier Champions and the Men’s 4s finishing as NW Division 5 (E) Champions with an unbeaten record - both wining the Teams of the Season Awards. Off the pitch, the evening also supported the clubhouse redevelopment, showcasing the strength and generosity of the club community.

A major part of the night was recognising individual and team success. Congratulations to all of our Players of the Season:

Top goal scorer honours went to Leonnie Molloy and Rick Axon as overall winners, while young player awards were presented to Maddie Micklethwaite and Harrison Storey.

Team success was also celebrated, with the Men’s 4s taking home the Jenny Cup as the club’s most successful men’s side, and the Ladies 1s awarded the Terry Horan Trophy as the most successful women’s team following their title-winning season and promotion.

Jonathan Pearson – Men’s Clubman of the Season
Nina Dickinson – Women’s Volunteer of the Season
Joseph Williamson – Kwasi Emmanuel Trophy Spirit of Goalkeeping Cup
Clare Hornby & Ross Small – Helen Cue Spirit of #OneClub Cup

With a packed schedule of fundraising, raffles, auctions, and a lively dancefloor to round off the evening, it truly was a night to remember.
