Right, the finishing line is in sight, we are in the final furlong! If you are in a promotion race or a relegation battle then there are squeeky bums going off all over the show! It all comes down to this, do or die! Well not die obviously….it might seem important, but in the scheme of things it probably isn’t!! Now I’m only a few lines in, but I’m really hoping my brain is up for this tonight!

It’s gin o’clock for me tonight!! I’m off work tomorrow as its my birthday, so I’m enjoying a little tipple tonight, and I’ll enjoy some more tomorrow!!!

What did you think of my Blue Army Merchandise ideas?! I really need to develop a channel of communication, always feel like I’m talking into the void! If I’m still typing next season maybe I’ll figure that out!!

I’m hearing there is another storm on the way, Horhay or something, not sure how you spell it, its Spanish I think, from what I can gather there is some sort of international scramble to name a storm, whoever names it first gets it…well they don’t get it, we all get it, but its nicer for them as they named it….something like that anyway!! So that’s to look forward to isn’t it!

Collection for Belper HC – we raised £100 to give to Belper HC on Saturday evening, nice way to show the wider love of the hockey family as they get themsevles back on their feet after yet another flood! Thank you to everyone who contributed!

Race Night – This Saturday it’s all going on at the club, you get to watch a double header of National League hockey and then roll into the club house to a crazy night at the horses! 110 tickets sold so far, it’ll be a cracker! Now did you wonder why there was a horse at a cash machine? Well that is clearly because to take part in the frivolities you must remember to visit a cash machine or raid your under the mattress stash, the club won’t be able to cover all the cash back needed as everyone gets excited!!

Double Header Weekend – Massive Sat night of hockey, stick around, watch some great hockey, have something to eat. Hayley will keep the bar food going until 6.30pm this Saturday, Men play at 4pm, Ladies at 6pm. Let’s get a massive crowd down again! Make them feel the Blue Army!

Fancy going to Wakefield – If any THC supporters fancy a trip to Wakefield next Sat (7th March) for a Mens and Ladies double header, contact the Boss, or Dave Stuart Halkyard to book a place. £10 a ticket, I’m sure they’ll be singing and maybe a tour guide or something to keep you entertained all the way there and back! I’m not sure what’s in Wakefield, they’ll be something nice......maybe a Greggs for tea?!
