The club will open at 5pm on Bank Holiday Monday.

On the pitch news !
We picked up our second piece of silverware of the summer on Sunday as the Women's 1s coming on top at the Cheshire Cup Finals with a 1 - 0 win against Wilmslow with a goal from Kiery Horne. It was great to have support down at Brooklands for the girls and to see some of our #growourown young academy players experiencing their first senior cup final - well done to Josie, Anna, Hannah and Phoebe. It was also good to see Kelly Burdett back playing and picking up player of the match after a long period out with a back injury - missing all of last season and showing the rewards can come following a lot of patience, hard work and commitment to get back playing. The win was just what the girls needed to set them up for the next phase of their pre-season preparation for Conference hockey in 5 weeks time.

The Men's 1s put on a great show for the crowd on Saturday coming out 10 - 2 winners v Chester in their Cheshire Cup Quarter Final. Lots of positives and good to see the goals rattling in - and lots to work on. Bouncing straight back on Sunday the 1's gave a really strong account of themselves in the Cheshire Cup Semi Final against a pretty full strength Brooklands Men's 1. Another good game for the spectators with a goal in each half securing a 2-0 win for Brooky - and eventual winners later in the day. Playing against National Premier Division opposition and a higher level intensity was again an ideal opportunity to test ourselves and build for the season ahead.

Friendlies and pre-season
Whilst the 1's have been clocking up the pitch time with pre-season friendlies from 31st August they'll be plenty of games for all the other senior players. Players should check Pitchero and What's App's Group's and update availability for 31st August (Men and Ladies 2/3's, 1st September (Ladies 3 - 5s), 7th and 14th September (men and women) to get some pitch time prior to the league starting on 21st September.

Next week (Tuesday 27th August) is the last week of pre-season training timings. From Tuesday 3rd September we shift back to our in-season training times so take advance of the final two hour session (all teams).

From Tuesday 3rd September Senior training times will be:
Club Training (men and women) 7.00pm - 8.15pm (please ideally get down for 6.45pm to warm up) Green Pitch
2/3's Training (men and women) 8.15pm - 9.45pm / 10.00pm Green Pitch. Coaches will be confirming invites to 2/3's training

Academy Tuesday training and groups to be confirmed next week.
