Men 1s vs West Bridgeford

Ben J stops the first attack

On the defence

Our first attack..

..Harry goes round the defender..

..dashes to the circle..

..he shoots; but it hits the bar.

Wez retrieves the ball..

..Harry tries to help but beaten

Ben J gets the ball in midfield, passes right..

.. Luke receives..

..lifts the ball forward..

..Carwyn receives the ball..

..controls it on the ground..

..gets passed the defender .

Down the right, with Harry..

defender makes a jab tackle

Oppo picks up an error in defence..

..lines up on reverse stick to score

Playing around the back..

..Matt M sets the ball up..

..and sweeps clear..

Carwyn in midfield..

..juggling the ball.

Luke down the right this time..

..closely marked..

..turns to his right..

..beaten the marker and passes the ball..

..stopped by the defender.

Matt M getting strong..

Ready..

..and away it goes into the air.

Matt M recovers

Luke running at the circle..

..defender closes..

..and Luke changes direction..

..goes into the circle..

..closely followed by the defender.

..and a second helps.

The passes is into the danger zone.

..Wez and Jenty close in..

..Wez tries a reverse flick..

..Keeper gets down and saves..

..and clears the ball.

Harry receives the ball in midfield..

..two close..

..but he manages to get through..

..he thinks he scores, but the keeper makes last ditch save..

and ball bounces clear.

Jenty looking around, locks flowing..

..still hasn't made his mind up.

setting off at penalty corner..

..Kiefer makes the save.

Luke having to defend..

..wins the race for the ball..

..knocks the ball back..

..and the attacker is beaten.

Teague is on and starts an attack..

..approaches the 23..

..takes on his defender..

..and bursts clear.

Benty closes his man down..

..and seconds later he has the ball on the right..

..being shadowed..

..Benty is tackled.

Wez trying his luck.

Teague tries again..

..passes the ball..

it comes out

Carwyn looks for options..

..getting closed down..

..but gets ball to Teague..

,,who is muscled off the ball.

Another attack this time by Jenty..

..he gets close to the circle

Carwyn on his reverse

Benty turns his man..

..and tries his 3D skills to get past 3.

Carwyn looks to change direction of the attack

Spread them wide!!

Luke is driving on the goal..

..on he goes..

..ready to pass..

..through the crowd of players.

Time to defend as Jenty tries to make the tackle

Luke moves in..

..but the ball is passed around him

Teague down the right..

..into the circle..

..passes back to Wez.

West Bridgeford on the charge..

..going around Benty..

..Luke recovers the ball, attacker slips..

..Luke moves forward.

Ben S on his reverse..

..into the 23 on his open stick.

Teague takes strike at PC..

..Keeper saves..

..Wez retrieves..

..tries to get over the keeper

Keeper makes a save

Luke battles for the ball..

..can he get it..

..brings it back before defender gets stick in..

..now gets strong..

..tormenting the defender..

..draws him one way..

..then round the other..

..puts the ball back into the danger zone..

..Wez flicks towards goal..

..defenders makes attempt to get to it..

and clears to his right.

Some seconds later Carwyn has it in the circle..

..on reverse he flicks towards goal over the keeper..

..defender tries to get..

..but the ball is in the back of the net.

Oppo try to get back into the game..

..Jenty and Luke close..

..but can't stop the pass being made

Harry in midfield.

Luke gets closed down..

but uses his 3D skills to get past..

and in space looks up.

Benty chasing ball down to the back line

Jenty passes to Benty..

..Benty goes on..

..through the tackle..

..on into the D..

..taking his time..

..not ready to pass..

..he is closed down.

Second half underway and first tackle made

Matt H waiting for help..

WestB come out of defence.

Carwyn is closed down

Teague into the circle..

..winding up on the reverse..

..shot flies high.

Teague wins ball..

..looks to turn defence into attack..

..he makes the pass to..

..Luke who drives on.

Ben S goes into to get the ball..

West B on the attack..

..Price comes out..

..closes on his target..

..and makes the tackle.

West B look to pivot and switch angle of the attack

Wez tries to press

Matt H receives on the left..

..looks up..

..as defenders close..

..he gets ready to go..

..drives inside and passes the ball

Jack (Jenty) is in the circle..

he turns his man..

..and takes a rest having taken a shot

Carwyn one handed dribble..

..stops and gets strong

Ball is back of the net but no celebration.

Teague scores a solo goal

You are never too old to play hockey, but fashion sense can got to pot

Ben J still defending

Well balanced

Wez sniping again

Jenty make a pass

Pricey shadowing his man

Harry starts another attack

Wez can't reach a through ball

Pricey on the ball..

..turns to change direction

Luke stops the ball..

..Carwyn keeping close control

Harry tackled..

Wez nears the goal..

..shoots but keeper saves

Jenty wins a corner

Carwyn is off again..

..trying to get strong..

..but loses out this time

Wez's lofted ball goes high..

..and over the keeper into the net.

It's that man again!..

..traying to beat his man..

..but defender sticks to his work

Teague receives the ball on the left..

..it's under control..

..over the stick..

..ready to get a shot away.

Maybe only a few minutes left but still chasing

Benty gets his feet out of the way

Carwyn is in the circle..

..but defence clear the ball.

Teague pressing down the left..

..but is stopped
