Evening All,
Most of you know what the ‘Patty Cup’ is about, but for those of you new to the club, Patty was a dear friend to us all, a true ‘blue’ who played for THC and latterly umpired regularly for the Ladies.He had a heart valve replacement during 2020, progressed well post-op but then developed septicaemia, which unfortunately he didn’t recover from. Since then we have always started the season with the ‘Patty’ cup against our local ‘rivals’ Bowdon, many of whom knew Patty well too. Go do your bit, get some points on the board and help bring back the cup to Timperley!
