Firstly…….Congratulations…..to all you North West Womens Premier league winners 25/26 reading this (if any of you are?!?)!
I really thought we would end up going to the wire this coming weekend and thinking you’d have to leave it all out on the pitch in one last performance v Brooklands to snatch the title. I’m so pleased for you, that that isn’t the case and that title is firmly in your hands. I hope you all feel proud of your achievement, it’s no mean feat to be the best team in the North West league! However, there is one last game of the season, one last performance to be had on the North West stage and whilst it’s not at our home ground it’s at a local rivals ground. At Brooklands, on Saturday, there will be a number of people who will be coming to support you all in the grand finale of the season and they will want to see you at your very best. They deserve your best……so let’s give them a showstopper…..let’s not get too giddy (leave that for after the final whistle) but remain focused and take to the pitch to finish off a job that we started way back in September (and for some a couple of years ago!)
