Beaver victory following fabulous fightback !

Fielding an almost all girl side our Beavers have had a spirited but challenging season playing mainly all boy teams. All the hard work and determination has started to pay off following a recent 2-1 win verse Oxton and 1-1 draw against Alderley Edge.

Saturday saw them take on Triton and take an early lead following pressing high into the Triton half for the first 20 minutes. The excited spectators were soon silenced as a poor defensive period saw the three goals from Triton prior to half time. Down but not out at half time ! The team took on board the learning from first half and bounced back with belief and confidence only to go 4-1 early in the second half.

Not giving up the team carried on working the ball into the 'D' and pulled back to 3-4 before Triton scored again. Still not giving up the team pressed on and clawed back goal after goal to win 6-5.

A great team performance and one made all the better to see so many smiling faces at the end of the game with all looking forward to the final game v Lymm on 12th April
