Timperley Beavers vs Wilmslow

Timperley Beavers produced an outstanding performance on Saturday running out 9-3 winners against Wilmslow Beavers.

In a strong all round team performance played in front of England cricket legend, Michael Vaughan, Wilf Roberts had a very strong game, scoring a fine individual goal and controlling midfield. Other players of note were Callum Brown in left midfield ably supported by Hamish Gonzales. Charlotte Lord worked tirelessly on the right wing and Rory Driscoll was industrious throughout scoring and laying on goals for his team mates.

At the back Jasmine Lord distributed the ball well and broke down Wilmslow attacks with good movement and tackling.

Having their first starts this season, Ben Hurlstone in goal and Isaac Massey put in solid performances. Ben pulled off a number of excellent saves towards the end of game as Wilmslow tried to narrow the gap.

Tougher fixtures lie ahead but the team are beginning to work well together and are keen to keep improving.
