Timperley Beavers vs Winnington Park

Timperley Beavers put together back to back wins on Saturday against a determined Winnington Park team.
They ran out 2-0 winners after a frustrating first half where the Winnington keeper made a series of excellent saves. He continued that form in the second half. The deadlock was eventually broken when Wilf Roberts coolly stroked home a penalty flick.
Kamol Stanford was then unlucky to have a well taken goal ruled out before Wilf Roberts and Rory Driscoll linked up with Rory slotting home the decisive goal.
Whilst the back three of Ella Nicholson, Jasmine Lord and Roisin Driscoll had a relatively quiet afternoon they all dealt well with any attacks and distributed the ball well to set up further Timperley attacks.
Emily Baxter in goal deserves a mention for turning out on one of those days when she was rarely called into action.
