Timperley Beavers vs Brooklands B

Timperley Beavers rediscovered their scoring form this week against Brooklands. They looked comfortable throughout the game scoring both from open play and set pieces. In fact they scored twice whilst having only 10 players on the pitch due to some dozy substations by the coach! Rory Driscoll bagged four and was backed up with goals from fellow forwards Oli Burton with two and Luke Jerrome also with a couple.

Playing on a full sized pitch helped and at times the team showed real promise moving the ball wide to Kamol Stanford who found himself in a number of good positions mid-way through the second half. Ahmad Kurdy and Joe Sullivan both had very solid games at the back tackling and distributing the ball well. Wilf Roberts was voted man of the match by the opposition for another solid performance in midfield. We welcome the ladies back next weekend and look to continue this excellent winning run against a usually well organised Chester team.
